Miami-Based Technology Company Debuts Premium Self-Parking App to Ease Your Shopping Experience
(Miami, FL) – MyPark, the Miami-based parking solutions provider used by malls, private and public garages and property management companies, today announced their partnership with Simon’s Dadeland Mall and the debut of their on-demand, mobile, premium self-parking service for shoppers and visitors. The new app provides guests the ability to choose where and when they want to park at the mall with the simple touch of a button.

Dadeland Mall is the first Florida Simon Property to implement the emerging technology, in which shoppers can reserve a prime parking spot when they need it, directly from their smartphones. MyPark’s app and intelligent connected reservation unit enables consumers to locate and reserve a prime parking spot in the best locations close to where they want to be at the mall. The solution eliminates the time and effort exerted driving up and down the parking aisles in search of an ideal spot near a desired mall entrance.
Dadeland Mall has installed 30 reserved, numbered spaces in various locations, including:
- A Garage (near CVS)
- B Garage (near Dining Pavilion – Food Court entrance)
- C Garage (near Macy’s Fashion mall entrance)
- E Garage (Fashion Wing – front of mall)
Spaces can be reserved for $3 for up to two hours through the app, which began offering the service at the mall on July 13. After two hours, the cost is $3 per hour. MyPark-trained attendants are on site until August 2 to help customers download and navigate the app, and assist with any parking questions.
Users can go to the usemypark.com website and click on the links to their respective app stores or download the app directly from the Android or iOS stores, register and tell the app where and when they would like to park. Then they choose the section they want (the best spot is selected automatically by default) and confirm their reservation. Once users arrive at their reserved space, they simply tap a button on their iOS or Android device and the unique MyPark reservation unit will lower to give them access.

Currently available at select malls throughout the country, MyPark will further enhance guest parking ease and satisfaction for mall shoppers with its new in-app validation feature. Retailers and restaurants can now offer their guests MyPark’s premium parking validations to drive more customers into their locations.
Guests simply park in a MyPark designated spot and then visit a participating retailer. The retailer then enters a one-time validation code and either pays partially or entirely for the parking. The system gives shoppers an incentive to go to a specific retailer and gives retailers a new way to reward their customers.
While Dadeland Mall is MyPark’s first foray into malls in Florida, it is already in use at other notable shopping centers in the U.S. including the Westfield Garden State Plaza, New Jersey’s largest mall. Later this summer, MyPark will expand into Puerto Rico.
To celebrate MyPark’s South Florida debut, the Miami-based company will be hosting a launch event on July 20th announcing its partnership with Dadeland Mall. A demonstration of the highly-anticipated app will be provided, giving shoppers and guests the complete premium self-parking experience.
