MyPark Expands Its Service At Plaza Las Americas

Due to their success, Miami-based technology company announces the expansion of the popular service at the largest mall in the Caribbean.

San Juan, Puerto Rico (September 19, 2018) – MyPark, the Miami-based parking solutions provider used by malls, private and public garages and property management companies, today announced the expansion of its popular service at Plaza Las Americas in Puerto Rico. The service will be made available to the public starting on Friday, September 21st.

The MyPark app provides guests with the ability to reserve a premium spot by the mall entrance prior to their arrival with the simple touch of a button. The expansion will add on 25 MyPark spaces, bringing the new total number to 35 in key locations within the property, including:

Plaza Las Americas

  • Section A, 5 spaces (Located in front of the main entrance)
  • Section B, 10 spaces (Located near Applebee’s)
  • Section C, 10 spaces (Located near Ponte Fresco entrance)
  • Section D, 10 spaces (Located near Sears entrance)

Spaces can be booked on demand or reserved in advance, through the app, for $7 for up to four hours and $3 each additional hour. MyPark-trained attendants are on-site at the property, main entrance section A, during the launch period to help customers download and navigate the app and assist with any parking questions.

This mall joins 15 other shopping centers around the island and the U.S. that have implemented the unique parking amenity for guests, in which shoppers can reserve a prime parking spot both when and where they need it, directly from their smartphones. The solution eliminates the time and effort exerted driving up and down the parking aisles in search of an ideal spot near a desired store entrance.

Users can go to the usemypark.com website and click on the links to their respective app stores or download the app directly from the Android or iOS stores, register and tell the app where and when they would like to park. Then they choose the section they want (the best spot is selected automatically by default) and confirm their reservation. Once users arrive at their reserved space, they simply tap “Let Me In” on their iOS or Android device and the unique MyPark reservation device will lower to give them access.
