MyPark Expands Into The Orlando Market With Three New Properties, Including Florida’s Largest Outlet Shopping Center

Miami-Based Parking Technology Company Launches Their App-Based, On-Demand Parking Service At The Florida Mall, Orlando International Premium Outlets, & Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets

(Miami, FL) – MyPark, the Miami-based parking solutions provider used by malls, private and public garages and property management companies, today announced their expansion into the Orlando market at three Simon properties, launching their on-demand, mobile, premium self-parking service at The Florida Mall, Central Florida’s largest shopping center, Orlando International Premium Outlets, Florida’s largest outlet shopping destination and Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets in Orlando, one of the nation’s most upscale outlet malls.

The expansion will feature a total of 75 new spaces at three different shopping centers in key locations within the properties. The MyPark app provides guests with the ability to choose a premium spot by the mall entrance with the simple touch of a button.

MyPark has installed 21 reserved, numbered spaces at The Florida Mall, 29 spaces at the Orlando International Premium Outlets and 25 spaces at the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, which include:

  • Section D, 5 spaces (entrance by American Eagle Outfitters)

Spaces can be booked on demand or reserved in advance, through the app, for $3 for up to two hours and $3 each additional hour. MyPark-trained attendants are on-site at all three properties during the launch period to help customers download and navigate the app and assist with any parking questions.

For tourists’ convenience, in addition to English, the application will be available in Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic. MyPark will also offer Free Wifi Hotspots at all three locations’ sections, so users can reserve their parking spots without incurring roaming, or additional fees.

These three shopping centers join two other Simon Properties in Florida and others around the U.S. that have implemented the unique parking amenity for guests, in which shoppers can reserve a prime parking spot both when and where they need it, directly from their smartphones. The solution eliminates the time and effort exerted driving up and down the parking aisles in search of an ideal spot near a desired store entrance.

Users can go to the usemypark.com website and click on the links to their respective app stores or download the app directly from the Android or iOS stores, register and tell the app where and when they would like to park. Then they choose the section they want (the best spot is selected automatically by default) and confirm their reservation. Once users arrive at their reserved space, they simply tap “Let Me In” on their iOS or Android device and the unique MyPark reservation device will lower to give them access.

NEW VALIDATION FEATURE!

Currently available at select malls throughout the country, MyPark will further enhance guest parking ease and satisfaction for mall shoppers with its new in-app validation feature. Retailers and restaurants can now offer their guests MyPark’s premium parking validations to drive more customers into their locations.

Guests simply park in a MyPark designated spot and visit a participating merchant, who will pay for their session. The system gives shoppers an incentive to visit a specific retailer and provides retailers a new way to reward their customers.
