Miami-Based Technology Company Debuts Premium Self-Parking App to Ease Your Shopping Experience

Miami, FL (June 18, 2018) – MyPark, the Miami-based parking solutions provider used by malls, private and public garages and property management companies, today announced their expansion into the New York market at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, which features 250 of the most sought after, high-end fashion and designer retail brands in the world and is located in Central Valley, New York.  The service will be made available to the public starting on Friday, June 22.

The MyPark app provides guests with the ability to reserve a premium spot by one of the mall entrances prior to their arrival with the simple touch of a button. The expansion will feature a total of 28 new MyPark spaces at the outlet which will be available in the indoor parking deck located on the ground floor including:

  • Section A, 14 spaces (entrance closest to Saratoga Section and Nike Factory Store)
  • Section B, 14 spaces (entrance closest to Saratoga Section and Nike Factory Store)

Spaces can be booked on demand or reserved in advance, through the app, for $3 for up to two hours and $3 each additional hour. MyPark-trained attendants are on-site at the property during the launch period to help customers download and navigate the app and assist with any parking questions.

This property joins other Simon Properties around the U.S. that have implemented the unique parking amenity for guests, in which shoppers can reserve a prime parking spot both when and where they need it, directly from their smartphones. The solution eliminates the time and effort exerted driving up and down the parking aisles in search of an ideal spot near a desired store entrance.

Users can go to the usemypark.com website and click on the links to their respective app stores or download the app directly from the Android or iOS stores, register and tell the app where and when they would like to park. Then they choose the section they want (the best spot is selected automatically by default) and confirm their reservation. Once users arrive at their reserved space, they simply tap “Let Me In” on their iOS or Android device and the unique MyPark reservation device will lower to give them access.

Currently available at select malls throughout the country, MyPark will further enhance guest parking ease and satisfaction for mall shoppers with its new in-app validation feature. Retailers and restaurants can now offer their guests MyPark’s premium parking validations to drive more customers into their locations.

Guests simply park in a MyPark designated spot and visit a participating merchant, who will pay for their session. The system gives shoppers an incentive to visit a specific retailer and provides retailers a new way to reward their customers.
